
What are Digital Downloads?
MyMonitorPets.com has screensaver software products, which are all Digital Download. This means that a software product that is of Digital Download, is not physically shipped out to you upon purchase. Instead you "Download" the entire screensaver software from the Internet. After downloading you install the screensaver as normal and run it from your Hard Drive.
Can I return the Product?
NO. Software purchases from our site are non-refundable. Because you are downloading the software and not receiving a ‘hard copy’ of the software product, all sales are final. Please view all the preview videos prior to ordering your screensaver – or Bundle Pack to ensure you’re happy with your order.
What’s a Bundle Pack?
To offer additional value to our customers, we created 3 pack bundles. These bundles are comprised of more than 1 individual screensaver and can be set-up to play 1, 2 or all 3 pet screensavers in succession. Additionally any other screensaver you purchase will also be bundled together. You must use the same email/password each time you purcahse.
How do I place an order?
Find the product you would like to buy by searching or browsing through the web site. Click the big picture icon, or tick the white box on the right of the picture. This will add the product to your Shopping and show you the contents of your cart. You can click on "Cart" at any time to see the contents of your cart. To start over, ‘dump’ the cart and it will be empty. Click the "Checkout" button when you are ready to process your order. This will take you to the Credit Card order form.
Complete the info required to process your credit card. Print a copy of the online receipt for future reference.
Are there any discounts?
From time to time we will offer promotional discount codes or special offers to our customers. Be sure to sign up to our seasonal newsletter to receive discount codes, promotions, news about our upcoming or latest screensaver releases, and other special offers. Only one discount can be redeemed at a time.
Add a discount or special promotional code to your cart in the "Shopping Cart". Type in your code exactly as it was given to you, and press the "Add To Cart" button. The discount, if valid, will then be applied to your cart.
Discount Codes only apply to software purchases, and may be subject to limited time offers. Expired or invalid promotional codes will not be honored.
How Do I Install the Screensaver?
Upon completion of your purchase, you will be directed to your personal download page.
When you click to download your product, select RUN or OPEN as this will make your installation easier. Once your installation begins, your screensaver product will be installed on your computer complete with an Uninstall Option located in your Windows Start Button. When your installation is finished, an Activation Program will appear asking for your Email and Password. Enter your Email and Password that you used upon purchasing your product, then click the Activate Button. If you have firewall protection, your system may prompt you to Allow/Disallow MyMonitorPets to connect to a DNS server; You must allow the screensaver to Connect to the Internet or your Activation will FAIL. Upon Activation your screensavers will be downloaded and installed onto your computer.
Each screensaver bundle can only be activated 2 times.
Isn’t there a Serial Number?
When you purchase a digital download product, details of your purchase are emailed to you. You do not need a special serial number or unlock code. To activate your screensavers use the Email/Password that you provided when purchasing the product. Occasionally, customers have reported never receiving the registration information. It is our experience that this is usually the result of customer's spam filters filling or blocking emails from the store. Please check your spam filters or folders for emails from support@MyMonitorPets.com.
Special Serial Numbers (gift cards)
If you received a GIFT CARD via email from someone, this does require a serial number. The serial number is listed within the email you received. To use this number, simply select the screensavers you wish to have (the gift card will indicate how many your serial number will allow), and proceed to checkout. Fill out all the information, but make sure you enter your serial number in the field labeled: I have a Serial Number. The credit card information is not required with a serial number. If you have already installed previous screensavers from MyMonitorPets please be sure to use the same Email/Password, as this will allow you bundle all your screensavers on your computer and run them in sequence if you wish.
Older Operating Systems and Equipment
We strive for maximum compatability for most computers, but can not guarantee operation on any particular system. Windows 95 and 98, Mac OS8 and OS9x are no longer officially supported, but some functions may still work.
Screen savers may encounter display problems with computers installed with the AMD Athlon 64 Series processor. This processor may cause the screensaver to not properly display the screen saver.
VISTA COMPATIBILITY AND ISSUES
Vista Version 3.4 is has known compatibility issues with many types of software. Ideally Vista version 3.5 should be used. Here's the opperations notes for Vista:
Installing a Screensaver in Vista
Screensavers work fine under Vista, with the following notes:
- The installer should automatically run as administrator. If for some reason it doesn't, use your mouse to click the EXE file with your RIGHT mouse button and choose "Run as Administrator."
- If required, enter the name & password of a valid administrator account. Note: as with most other applications, we recommend that only Administrator users should install under Vista
- Follow the rest of the installation steps -- the screensaver will install.

Screensaver Operation in Vista
Once installed, our screensaver will function normally under Vista.
An iScreensaver built using version 3.4 will function normally under Vista, with the following notes:
- The small preview display in the Control Panel may show up as a plain black square, however this will not prevent the screensaver from operating at full-screen.
- The Uninstall button on the Screensaver Control Panel will not function. To uninstall the screensaver manually, see below.
Screensaver Uninstall in Vista
To uninstall in Vista, follow these steps:
- Click the Start Menu and choose "Computer."
- Click "Local Disk (C)" and choose "Windows."
- Scroll down untill you see the screensaver file.
- Click the screensaver file with the right mouse button and choose "Delete..."
- Click the Continue button to allow UAC permission.
BLANK WHITE SCREEN
A small percentage of people have reported that the screensaver does not run, and simply shows a Blank White Screen. This issue has been resolved. Please go to the download page and re-download and install the setup package. Click Here.
Why doesn’t it download?
Most common problems arising from failed downloads are due to the following:
Slow, or unstable internet connections - this could be because of slower, dial up ‘modem’ connections – or a ‘borrowed’ wireless connection, which is not a stable connection. ADSL or Cable internet connections are recommended.
Security Software. If prompted by your security/firewall software, you must allow the software to access the internet.
Inadequate hardware. You must ensure that your computer fits minimum requirements for space and performance. Minimum requirements to run our Screensavers without incidents are:
- PC: minimum Pentium IV processor, Windows XP, 24bit video, 512 RAM, minimum 50mb disk space
- MAC: minimum G4, OSX, 512 RAM, minimum 50mb disk space
